When Marshall Bruce Mathers III was asked" How did the name Slim Shady come up? He said "I was takin' a shit. I swear to God. And the fuckin' name just popped into my head."

I am sure that many gladiators had similar experiences when dealing with the likes of  Dr Chap. -------SAY CHEESE CHAPPIE------->

Dr Shady has many disguises, most recently a spy he planted in WRT – Known as Kitara

Looking at the picture, its understandable why he finds it difficult to determine his own gender.

It looks as though there is no doubt that his intention is to set up shop in various guilds to gather information and intelligence. Is this the sort of character you are looking to house in your guild?

Does it sound to you that he was looking to be caught?

He also joined other guilds under the pretence of a visit, however in his haste made more enemies that friends

There was drama when Chap left? Must have missed that ......

For the records, I believe that he was the only person that left the guild. His shady ways have finally caught up with him as he joined SPQR on his own.

Once Dr Chap joined the war against “The Den”, his frustration became clear - realising that he was out of his depth.He updated his profile page to reflect the following:

Von_Kestleberg – Betrayer of StoneHarthLegion?

According to Christianity Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus with a kiss for 30 silver coins, then after

realizing what he had done, he gave the money back and hung himself. The name Judas is synonymous with that of betrayal followed closely by the name Von_Kestleberg.

Alright, so I may be embellishing the comparative of the two, however let me position myself.

Von_Kestleberg is one of the founders of Retribution and StoneHarthLegion is also his guild. hughiejr may be the master, but he isn’t the puppeteer as those strings are controlled by Von.

During the merger, alliance were formed and sides were chosen. It was obvious that Von was no longer the all powerful gladiator he professed to be on his previous server and was becoming redundant.

The formation of Retribution soon followed, which sparked the war with SPQR & WRT

SPQR – Based on the evidence at the time of the declaration, they had several SPQR members.

WRT – War was avoided as Palerider retracted his gladiators from Retribution and had the acumen to speak to Kimbus and provide a feasible and peaceful solution.

StoneHarthLegion - was not declared on due to the close ties and history that a number of their gladiators had with Kimbus and the Den. This  later resulted in those particular members walking out of StoneHarthLegion in protest of the action taken by Von.

My opinion, StoneHarthLegion should have counted themselves lucky, as they did not get in the cross-fire of the initial war declaration.

So the war has been raging on between “The Den” and “SPQR”, with more than half of SPQR are unable to hit any member of “The Den”

While this is all happening....:..

Oongrats - makes it known that he will never surrender, as well as making it clear that he is a half wit.

Diceman – Still tries to figure out that “Hay is for horses”, where as “Hey" is used as a way of grabbing someone's attention.

Eric – takes up a teaching role, First Lesson: Sarcasm, without the use of Irony? WTF? – Maybe he should also explain the Hay situation to Diceman [See Diceman's profile]

In my previous post, I mentioned that Eric, Von and Mysterious were all given Admin posts, as SPQR were running out of options and needed mercs to try and hit “The Den”. During that time, Von asked “The Den” to stop the war and admitted to being the cause of the war. Kimbus rightfully suggested that Von take it up with Oongrats, as he has the ability to surrender the war. Von left SPQR and went back to StoneHarthLegion – as he was once more regarded as redundant.

So the latest News is, Von would like to start up Retribution and declare war on “The Den”, hence my suggestive association between Judas and Von. The truth is, if Von declares war on “The Den”, there is only one outcome.

A war to end Legion – and not one war, a number of wars without end, until they are as broken and in dire need of help – Much like SPQR?

Why does he want to Declare?

Is it because he no longer has loyalty to StoneHarthLegion?

Is it because he believes that by sacrificing the gladiators of StoneHarthLegion, the Den will no longer be focused on SPQR?

Is Von giving up his seat at StoneHarthLegion to take up the Admin post at SPQR afterwards?

Either way, it’s a betrayal and the outcome looks bleak for StoneHarthLegion.

It will be interesting to see if Von is prepared to play his hand, with the knowledge that return fire is imminent.

Educating his own guild mates on the "Art of Sarcasm"

The war between SPQR and the Den has been raging on for over 3 months and the ever impressive Oongrats [Not] has stuck to his guns and not surrendered or even had a case of the Mad Cow in months.

While long serving Admin members of SPQR such as AA are in desperate need of getting on and playing the game. [Me too for that matter]

The above is a clear case of - "Let's call it a day and hope that if the war has ended on a technicality, that "The Den" don't re-declare on us immediately afterwards. [Oh yes - they can do that.]

Eric Day 104 of this war. and den hasn't claimed victory. I guess you guys have really "taught" SPQR a lesson! Now I know some will say well SPQR hasn't won this war either, etc. etc. But Since den declared this war to teach" SPQR a lesson on not to mess with them.

So let’s consider just a few obvious observations. 

* Battle Reports prove that SPQR get in probably 1 hit for every 5 of The Den

* Eric, Mysterious and Von_Kestleberg all had to return to SPQR to assist in the fight, because we just don't have enough active players. 

* A friend over at The Den mentioned to me that 57 of the Den members had logged on in the last 24 hours [This was mentioned only a few hours ago]

* There are obviously certain admin in SPQR that would prefer for the war to end. And ofcourse the majority of our active players

* Oongrats was forced to appoint Eric, Mysterious and Von_Kestleberg as Admin to ensure their loyalty. I say there is victory for "The Den" right there. Oongrats had nowhere to turn.

* The post proves that AA - one of their long serving Admin members of SPQR is forced to take a back seat and be treated like a junior, when confronted by Eric. Eric has made his mark - We love you Eric Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaa

* I don't know about anyone else - But the last new member we accepted, turned tail and left the guild after only a few days

Oh Well - Let the games continue... And let these idiots ramble on.
