Advent calendar: Question 4

How long does travelling to another country take in Gladiatus?

As a gladiator one travels more comfortably than does the average citizen, but it is still no comparison to the luxuries of a consul or any other higher-ups. The Roman network of roads is an enjoyable thing, yet all the shady figures, always trying to enrich themselves from the voyagers, are a problem. Many milestones and multiple days carriage ride usually lie between two hostels. But this does not deter a gladiator!

Where else could a reputable and mighty gladiator, as you undoubtedly are, prove himself? The Germanic peoples have frequently forced us to the edge of defeat on many glorious battles. There you will surely find glory. On the other hand, Africa has not been explored and you could demonstrate Rome`s glory and the strength of the Imperium there. Decide for yourself and I will explain the easiest travel route.
